Montessori Habitat is an extraordinary place that is very true to Montessori principles. The teachers, materials, and setting are lovely and I am grateful that my children can have a Montessori elementary experience. As the incredibly dedicated, professional, motivated administrator once told me: it's a beautiful way to learn. I couldn't agree more--my children have remained curious, concentrated, enthusiastic about learning. They can't wait to go to school each day.

My children attend this school. It is definitely one of the best schools in C-U, with a director who really holds it together and teachers who are dedicated and skillful. The students are mostly good kids. The school teaches independent learning & thinking, cooperation, and even traditional academics reasonably well. I would love a school where all children are brilliant, the teachers are constantly inspired, the curriculum fuses creativity, academics, and ethics, and every day is new and beautiful, but I'll settle for this school. I'm happy to send my children to it. Strong on personal and intellectual development, not quite as strong on arts.
