Communication with parents is great. Class size is small and teachers are very interested in their students' success.
This school has a wonderful special education department - changed my son's life! A large school in a small town. Glenwood High has many elective classes that, I think are outside the norm, such as producing, directing, and reporting for their own t.v. channel.
I went to school here and felt I received a very good education. We have returned to the area so our children could benefit from an education here as well. As far as the teachers not staying and having no longevity there are several that I had as teachers over 10 years ago that are still at the school.
One of the greatest schools of Chatham, IL. The sports teams are amazing, the building is huge, the students are diverse, and the teachers are perfect. A few teachers are on the crazy side, but GHS has the best teachers of the district. When students perform well on tests, most of the time, teachers reward their students. This method helps others and myself to achieve better scores on the next test. This school is perfect if you do want your child or yourself to prepare yourself for college.
I go to this school and I love it here. The teachers are amazing and people are rather civil here as well.
Students are being told when they need help. However, the assistance from the school is very disappointing.
One of the greatest schools in the state!
Not what I expected from this school. Administration not very parent/student friendly. Teachers not a lot better, although there are a handful of good teachers. Good school as long as your student does not require assistance with academics. Great school if your child plays football or basketball as this a very sports minded school.
Great School! Wonderful teachers and a great facility.
