The teachers are great and discipline has improved over the last 8 years that I have been a substitute aide. A great middle school is essential for student development and I believe Glenwood is accomplishing this goal.

I love my school. I can be involved with athletics and the arts at the same time. Also, it offers three language classes. Food is great(just wait until we get to GHS). I'm in all honors and actually enjoying eighth grade. Great School!

GMS is a great middle school. The teachers are very friendly and very dedicated to learning. They offer a wide variety of classes from standard to honors to fit the needs of students. It's a great learning enviorment and you are sure to make some new friends.

This school is a wonderful school and has turned out to be the opposite experience for my child since he exited Glenwood Intermediate. Can't believe these two schools are supposed to be so closely related and in the same district. GMS has an awesome team of teachers, staff and administration. Bullying is not tolerated and the Principal and Vice Principal(s) send a very strong message regarding bullying; it appears that they have a much better handle and sense about the whole matter. They could teach GIS a thing or two. There are many opportunities for students to be challenged and grow intellectually. This is my child's second year at GMS and he was blessed with having all great teachers. It is so nice to get back to a school where emphasis is on education - priorities are right at this school!!

IN a NUT SHELL: Involved teachers and coaches. Technology superb. Advisory class a waste of time. All children can find their nitch. (academics, arts, athletics)...unlike springfield schools because of their budget cuts.
