this school is not best it give your child an education and teachs the students most of the things they need to know for high school nothing more nothing less some other staff members dont treat every child the same the staff members often show favortism and if you can try send your child to a thus better if you can THANK AND HAVE A NICE DAY

Washington McKinley teachers & staff is a school that is known for it's one on one attention to it's students no matter the situation :-)

I would have love for my daughter to attend school years because of the great curriculum, but she had to attend another school in the district because of the area we lived in. Years ago, if she were in junior high, she would have gone here but they changed the rules unfortunately. When she cheer leaded at this school, we went through changes with the administration. I have heard administration has improved because most of them resigned so there goes a good improvement.

I have two children that attend Mckinley Elementary School.I am beyond satisfied with this school.This is their first year but it is going way better then it ever did at their last school.My oldest son attended one other school in the district and it was horrible.The two schools are completely opposite.Mckinley is a large school but the teachers and staff work together to make a fun, learning and peaceful environment.My children love their new school.The teachers make a relationship with the students as individuals which make me feel they truly care about their students.Mckinley is very welcoming and make me feel we both want whats best for my children.The last school had 2 field trip days and one was to a park. Its only October and both of my children have field trips and the end of this month. I love how they have fundraisers and you see exactly where the money goes.This school seems so involved. My son was bullied at the last school,Mckinley has anti bulling and educated the kids on not to be a bully. Just a breath of fresh air. My plan was to put them in this school this year but their year is going wonderful.Grades are way better I definitely will keep them in Mckinley.

I am very happy with this school. Seems like they take pride as teachers. At my children's last school every time they had a problem they would call for me to pick my child up. Washington-Mckinley must be that much better I had not met my sons teachers until parent teacher conference. I couldn't be more satisfied!

My son is in 1nd grade and has been attending McKinley since pre-K. I haven't had any problems unlike the school my daughter attended. I really appreciate ALL the time and effort the teachers put into the school and children!! The teachers and staff show its not just a job, they truly care.

I currently have three children enrolled in McKinley Elementary school and overall it is a pretty good school. My favorite part of this school is the teachers and especially Mrs. Parker a kindergarten teacher. She shows the children love, kindness,respect and my child came home and knew math and his writing very well. Also McKinley will work with you if you have money issues if you need help with fees being waived and on occasion feildtrips.A couple of years ago my daughter went to kindergarten in Matteson and I am SO MUCH happier with my children at Mckinley as are they. Also at my daughters old school the supply list cost me $150 and here it is no more than $30.I would recommend this school to parents because of the teachers,costs and also there are so many different ethnic backrounds and I think kids should be brought up knowing that everyone is equal.
