Number one school in America. College style classrooms, major opportunity for growth and development for diverse learners and outstanding teachers and principal who go above and beyond their salaries to provide the opportunities for quality educations for all students. There is no other school for our family.

Prosser Career Academy offers students a range of activities, studies, and certifications. A lot of people don't realize that PCA offers Career Technical Education courses that can prepare our students for a work environment in Culinary, Graphic Design, Heating Venting and Air-Conditioning, as well as Auto Mechanic both externally and internally, not to mention Computer Gaming, Cabinet Making, Machine Technology, and Building Construction. Prosser meets the needs of students who are looking forward to going directly to the work industry and also college. College readiness classes such as the Advanced Placement, One Goal, International Baccalaureate and newly implemented IB-career related curriculum offers Prosser Students the best in education. The last few years Prosser has focused on the safety of their students and meeting with parents to expose them to the opportunities at PCA. The only downside to this school is that the students aren't aware of what they're being provided with and choose to pass it by without realizing how they could better both themselves and the school.

This school is a really good school. The teachers actually care for their students education, they preassure and help the students become better in life. Students have a veriety of afterschool programs (like ATG and Aspira) and sports that they can attend, and also keep them busy and out of the streets. I am a current student at this school and I have to say it is a really great school! :)

He picks and chooses which programs will place him in a good light. If you're child is not in the IB program or ROTC , expect them to 1) drop out and become a product of their environment 2) get pushed toward a labor position IF they graduate 3) join the military. The teachers will place an emphasis on those kids that are gifted enough to get in the IB programs where they will receive any and all information on the colleges of their choice and scholarship programs overseas trips etc. Those kids that need additional attention WILL fall to the side and considered problem students. If the teachers don't put forth an effort to reach them, the kids will feel they have no other choice to become who they think they are. I'm fortunate my kid is in some Honors classes as well as Advances Placement so she will not all scholarship info, but maybe financial aid will help. Until Ken Hunter is removed, the school will not be somewhere you will want to send your kid

My school may not be the best, but it has given me such opportunities as traveling to Peru and other great places. There is a myriad of opportunities for students here. The IB Program is also a huge asset. Seniors are continuously gaining admission into such schools as the University of Chicago and Vanderbilt.

What is the GreatSchools Rating?

The GreatSchools rating is a simple tool for parents to compare schools based on test scores, student academic growth, and college readiness. It compares schools across the state, where the highest rated schools in the state are designated as “Above Average” and the lowest “Below Average.” It is designed to be a starting point to help parents make baseline comparisons. We always advise parents to visit the school and consider other information on school performance and programs, as well as consider their child's and family's needs as part of the school selection process.
