Bucktown is an excellent school with a high qualified staff. My daughter has been attending this school since kindergarten and is now in the advance class for 3rd grade, thanks to her dedicated teachers. My daughter deserves a good quality education without having to pay high tuition fees.

When it came time to choosing a school for my son who has an IEP it became very apparent of what school was willing to work with us and which one s weren t and it was pretty obvious that CICS Bucktown was going to take the extra steps in doing so to make sure my son receives the necessary services and is provided with the tools in order to meet his goals that are in his IEP. Not only is he receiving all the services that he needs so am I. CICS Bucktown offers monthly Parent Training workshops to answer any questions or concerns we might have.

Bucktown is an excellent school! The teachers are extremely dedicated and professional. There is a very individualized approach to teaching at this school with the attitude that every child is important and every child can learn. The environment is positive and nurturing with a focus on positive reinforcement and character education. We are so fortunate to have our children at CICS Bucktown!

It is an excellent school and we are very happy to have our child attend kindergarten here. Her class teacher is XCELLENT and so are her course teachers. Very individualized approach. Teachers respect and seek parents' input and implement it. We do not mind the distance and the drive everyday and plan to send our both younger kids to this school.

Bucktown makes many successful efforts to remain connected with its students, families and community. The teachers have the youth, energy, focus and desire to provide the tools needed for their students, listen to their students, and utilize technology to enhance their student s entire educational experience. Bucktown has implemented an innovative approach to developing character both inside and outside of its doors through their Character Counts initiative. It teaches student s how important character is as a global citizen: TRRFCC Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibly, Fairness, Caring and Citizenship Our Director, Mrs. Hope Kyle-Mitchell and her upper grade team, recognized a need to adjust the middle school students to a more enhanced and relevant approach to allow the students the continuously build their sense of confidence in subjects where they excel, while enhancing the student s educational understanding and appreciation in those areas where they could use a bit more assistance. This type of innovation is what makes Chicago International Charter School-BUCTOWN, our family s school of choice, the absolute best in Chicago!

I have 4 children; all 4 children have attended CICS Bucktown since kinder and will all graduate from CICS Bucktown. At this time one of my children have already graduated, and the next 3 will soon follow. It says a lot about the school that we do not live in the area and we travel out of our way to go to this school. I have had great teacher support, communicate and teamwork throughout all our yers there and for this reason I will continue to travvel out of my way to have my children attend this school. The parent involement/volunteers has improved a lot since my beginings years at the school and its great to see, only working together can we make a difference for our children!

CICS Bucktown is AWESOME!!! The teachers are very informative for the students as well as the parents. My child teacher is one on the best. I can't express the overall quality of the school and the administrators. I am very happy with the knowledge that the school provides.

Oops! We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Public and charter school test scores for most states come from the state Department of Education. The most common reasons we might not have this data are either that not enough students took the test or that the school was recently opened, and its scores have not yet been reported.

Oops! We currently do not have any student information for this school. We rely on the state Department of Education, the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), and in some cases school administrators such as registrars and principals for this data.
