CICS Loomis primary academy would have been the best except for the after care arrangement. I would recommend that parents be given about 30minutes to pick up their kids after the 3:15pm dismissal. sometimes, it's hard to find a place to park and that could even take anywhere around 10 minutes and above and before you get in at 3:30, they already have the kids out of the building. even if you are 5minutes behind, without any help with homework or anything, they'll still go ahead and charge you the full price. it's very ridiculous. It wasn't this bad when Ms Shaw was the principal and i see it as a way to extort money from parents. this should be addressed as soon as possible. My child has had great teachers who are very caring and sensitive to their students needs. Ms Saint James is so awesome.

Much Needed Changes at Loomis - I think the process of accepting children into the school for morning arrival is greatly flawed... I realize that the start time for arrival is at 7:20 am, however if the teachers/staff is in the school before then I think the children should be allowed to enter the school and wait in the multipurpose room until school starts. Winter is soon approaching; I don't believe its fair to the children to have the teachers/staff in the building where it s warm while the children are outside freezing! Where is the concern for the children??? I also think that the process for dismal could use some adjusting as well.

My children have attended CICS-Loomis Primary for a few years now and I've always had great things to say. This school year however has not been the best. It can be contributed to the fact that there is a new principal and a few new unqualified teachers. Not one to quickly give up, I thought I'd trust in the school that I came to love but this has been next to impossible. The Administrative team has not addressed issues in a professional manner. So while they're figuring it out they are losing families left and right. This school is not what it was when Ms. Shaw was the principal. Hopefully, parents realize what's going on before their children fall behind.

My oldest daughter graduated the 8th grade from CICS Longwood Campus in 2010. The school and instructors there were wonderful and the education she received there definitely prepared her for high school. I have a daughter currently enrolled at the Loomis campus. Our experience here is also been enjoyable. The classwork along with the daily specials are instrumental in her growth. i highly recommend this school.

The school is very instrumental in my childs development. I appreciate how the school steps in if a student is struggling. They give the student one on one tutoring. I have other children who were CPS schools and they were not as involved with the kids education.
