Morrill School has an excellent, hard-working faculty. Students at Morrill learn through media integration and project-based learning. This is a highly motivating and highly effective instructional model. There are many opportunities for sports programs and extra-curricular activities. Great things are happening!

Morrill has completely revamped its educational and extracurricular offerings to meet the needs of the 21st century learner. Through a media integrated curriculum, students learn to be tech-savvy media consumers and producers. The heavy emphasis on high achievement and in-depth study gives students opportunities to really dig deep when exploring new ideas. The school also focuses on developing well rounded students who thrive in college and careers. Therefore, much of the learning is project-based to help students cultivate the organizational, social, and disciplinary skills necessary for success in the 21st century.

This is a really bad and hurtful school. Variety of the students get bullied and harrased everyday and there is really bad gun violence around the school nirghborhood , which makes it hard for students to come to a learning enviornment around their homes... Another reason is that the work and practice is too easy for the students because most of the children dont get a challenge to activate their learning ability inside the mind.

This school has most definately improved in the past few years all thanks to a dedicated principal, wonderful staff and a community dedicated to progress. If their dedication continues this school is on track to becoming one of the best in Chicago's southwest side.
