Mireles is truly beginning to live up to it's motto of being "The Best of the Best." Under the leadership of Mrs. Randle-Robbins whom rules with an iron fist, Mireles has moved from a level 3 school to a level 2 in her first year of leadership. Mireles is definitely on it's way to being a Tier 1 school for the 2014-2015 school year. Teacher are dedicated to making sure each student is college and career ready. The students there are the best that the southeast side has to offer. This is a school on the rise.

I enrolled my child in Mireles Academy last year and I like the school. I met the principal and yes she is tough but in a good way. She's got high expectations. My daughters teachers are good also.

I dont even give it a review . This is the worst school ever. The principle is rude. The kids fight all the time . The staff is ok . If you dont want your child to learn anything this is the school to send them too.

This school needs a lot of work. It needs staff who are able to keep up with the demands of the students. The school needs better academic programs, and new staff which would include a new principal. I have seen and heard staff yelling at students. The entire school needs a makeover. I will be transferring my child out of the school and do my research for a new school. The entire school is on the NCLB (No Child Left Behind). This says a lot! Education is very important!

It seems as if all the students who come from this school are so far behind and have serious learning problems. My child was a non reader and writer. He has such problems at A. Mireles. Then I transferred him to Ninos and now he is catching up. This school should be taken over by a principal like Gloria Stratton or hire more teachers like Ms. Jackson of Ninos.
