My children are very happy at DupreySchool. They love their 4th/5th grade teacher Mrs Nunez. She is caring, challenges the students and encourages them to do their best. My children made huge gains. The school offers a positive climate and healthy choices. Transferring my children to Duprey, the best decision I have ever made.
My kids have been going to Duprey for a few years now and I would have it no other way! I like the fact that the school is small and that the teachers have more time for their students. The best part of the school is that all of the staff take the time to talk to parents and make them feel like they are part of their own child s education. That is how it should be. My children love the 4th/5th teacher and the school counselor is a real trip. He knows exactly what to say. If you are looking for a great school look no further. Duprey is for you!

There is a climate of caring and personalization in our small school. Every child has academic goals and knows his or her reading level. Reading instruction is individualized and students are able to learn at their own pace. The Principal is accessible and always looking for opportunities to engage the community in providing services and resources for our children. At Roqu de Duprey, developing the whole child , mind, body and heart, is very important. As a participant in the Healthy Schools initiative, we offer daily morning recess, physical education three times a week, healthy meals, health and nutrition education, cooking classes for students, and received an Asthma Friendly School award. We have partnerships with many area hospitals and are working closely with the Consortium to Lower Obesity in Chicago Children (CLOCC), to make wellness a part of our culture. In addition, we have a strong Math & Science curriculum focus, two technology labs, an updated library, chess education, and arts integration. Our students recycle and tend our prairie garden. Our teachers are always learning new ways to make learning fun and relevant to our students.
My daughter and my litle son are new this year in the school and since the begining they felt very good and always came to our home happy, excited and talking about how they felt very well at this school.
