I think the school and the principle is tremendous! My son is currently in 7th grade, needed more challenges in class was put into more advanced projects and my daughter it was determined early in the school year needed help in Math and English received it. I was pleased to see that their needs were noticed early and addressed, even though they were at both ends of the academic spectrum. As far as the principle goes, i think some people might be rubbed the wrong way by her, but her ability to be strong, focused and still be fair and loving overall, along with the school now having a waiting list for enrollment is a testament to her leadership.

I agree with the other reviewers regarding the quality of this school. The cost is in line with the quality, and the teachers are involved and caring; however, the principal pays lip service to what she writes in her newsletter. Her keynote speeches are so positive - but incongruous to her demeanor.

Just graduated at this school, and more than a handful of our graduating class got accepted into top high schools. Its fun and educational. Fun because there's no peer pressure, and no cliques. People just chillax and accept each other. Educational because the teachers are excellent, and successfully teach us what we need to learn. The principal is...Unbecoming. I'm kinda disappointed that the assistant principal is leaving the school. But, nca is a great place to be. *Two thumbs up!*

very good school, very good education, but my top concern is the principal. Her attitude is very bad, and if this continues, i might take my child out of there, but the co principal is very nice and helpful towards the students, but the principal is just awful.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.

What is the GreatSchools Rating?

The GreatSchools rating is a simple tool for parents to compare schools based on test scores, student academic growth, and college readiness. It compares schools across the state, where the highest rated schools in the state are designated as “Above Average” and the lowest “Below Average.” It is designed to be a starting point to help parents make baseline comparisons. We always advise parents to visit the school and consider other information on school performance and programs, as well as consider their child's and family's needs as part of the school selection process.
