Josephinum is a school unlike any other. It s a place where a girl can come to learn without holding back because of male distractions. The teachers really care about how we learn and where we are. Though unsure of the school at first, I came to love it and can t imagine being anywhere else.
Josephinum Academy is an extraordinary school that offers excellent academics, a staff who always go the extra mile and teachers who care about the students in a manner seldom seen. The overall performance of everyone at Josephinum has impressed me beyond my hopes and expectations. I work with several children to ensure their educational success and I endorse Josephinum as a school that encourages, supports, guides, teaches and cares about its students. I am impressed and grateful for all everyone has done. The students exhibit enthusiasm and a joy in learning. Josephinum Academy is outstanding.
Josephinum Academy is a special place for young women. The academics, attention and love shown to the girls is not found in the majority of high schools, especially in Chicago. My daughter is a freshman and I find that she has begun to blossom, finding her voice and expressing leadership. She was extremely introverted, lacking friends and now she is enjoying developing close friendships. I feel great watching her grow into a more self-assured young woman. Like I began, "The Jo" is a very special place!
I don't even know where to begin with Josephinum Academy! For it being my freshmen year, I am in love with The Jo! For me, the best part are the young teachers. Because of the fact that they're a bit younger than the "average-aged teacher," they relate to us a lot, which has been very helpful. The teachers make classes so much fun, they actually CARE about our future, and you can have a personal relationship with each of them, without feeling weird about it. The classes and curriculum is also another positive key factor of what Josephinum has to offer. They offer advances courses, like AP Biology and AP Calculus. I love that they arrange us based on how much we know, and what we need more help on. Currently, I'm in advanced survey literature, which has been great for me because I am being challenged, so it makes my learning education that much more rewarding. The school also understands that not all students work on the same level, so they make sure we are placed in the right classes. Josephinum is the place to go if you want to become an intelligent, positive, insightful, and independent woman.
Caring environment, personal attention, challenging academics, exceptional teachers, awesome students, committed parents.
Josephinum was a haven from my insane family life. The teachers were genuinely caring in guiding me toward my full potential. I graduated with a strong sense of integrity that has been challenged throughout my life. I know I wouldn't be the person I am today without the development of a STRONG foundation created at the Jo!
great teachers and enthusiastic P.T.A. allowed me to become a strong and independent person.
it' christian based and a all girls school so they are not distracted by boys. great curriculum.
I'm an alumna of Josephinum High School and I feel it was a blessing to walk through those doors for four years. I had a safe, one of a kind education that prepared me for the rest of my life.
I was a parent and a non academic employee at Josephinum ,I loved the education and the personal on hands teaching that my daughter received .Josephinum is the perfect place to become a intelligent and independent women .
