De La Salle has been a perfect school for my son who is in the honors program. His teachers have been outstanding and supportive. He has met and become friends with many terrific kids who are oustanding individuals and students. Look for this school to become a leader for educating kids who live in the expanding downtown Chicago area.

De La Salle is extremely underrated when it comes to academics. Plenty of extracurricular activities to keep a kid involved. Neighborhood is up and coming with no end in sight. Re establishing a Fathers Club which has not been in existence since 1952. Go Meteors!

My son will be in his senior year at De La Salle, and I am very pleased with the education he has received. He is in the honors program and is able to get any help he needs from his instructors. The school is a college prep school, and I know my son is ready for the challenges of college in 2006. There are many extra curricular activities available for the students. I work and am not very active in the school, as is the case with many of the other parents. There are fundraisers, but they are not mandatory. I would recommend anyone looking for an excellent high school to look into De La Salle.

DeLaSalle's proximity to Illinois Institute of Technology university provides it's students a view towards their possible academic future.
