I love this school. My son has grown and flourished within this environment. He has grown, matured and become a leader within his grade. His scores are great - he's already been accepted to university and has a bright future ahead of him. I love the fact that as a parent I feel I am involved in his academic career, that other parents are also involved and that his friends know me. It's a great environment for academic and social growth

The teachers have a true interest in each student. The curriculum is challenging. Each student has an opportunity to be involved in many extracurricular activities. I like the idea of the seniors creating a portfolio of their accomplishments from the past 4 years, it gives the students an opportunity to build on a process that can be used in college and in job interviews. It is an affordable private ,Christian education.

Luther North has been a wonderful environment for both of my teenagers. My daughter graduated in the spring of 2011 and is now attending a Division 1 college. Luther North helped her achieve this goal by having attentive faculty members and a supportive group of friends. My son is a current freshman and was able to play football without having prior experience and he ended up earning a MVP award for punting. His grades are outstanding and he is thriving. When I walk into the school, students and faculty say hello to me because they know who I am. That option is not always available at other schools. Luther North is a family orientated, Christian atmosphere.

We 'd never considered a private high school for our son until he didn't qualify for a selective enrollment school in the CPS system. He's a senior at LNCP now and this has turned out to be the best decision we could have made. The smaller environment coupled with the great individualized attention he's received from the teachers has allowed him to flourish. The curriculum at LNCP has been rigorous enough to be challenging but not to the insane levels of some of the supposedly great schools in CPS. As a family we're very happy that our son got to concentrate on "high school" for 4 years instead of becoming a performance-obsessed "testing robot."
