After having been part of the Sacred Heart community for eight years, I can't imagine a better school environment for children and parents alike. The academics are rigourous and challenging, the after-school program is nothing less than exceptional, the school community is a loving, supportive, and cohesive group that I am PROUD to be a member of, and the 5 Goals of the school are not only commendable, but also, respected, honored, and strived for by all of us who are blessed to be a part of the Sacred Heart community. I truly can't think of one aspect of SHS that I would change, if given the chance.

The previous poster must be referring to a different Sacred Heart. Sacred Heart Schools, Sheridan Rd does not assess students with letter grades until Grade 3. I have experience as a parent with public schools, parochial parish schools. SHS, an independent Catholic school, is truly exceptional in every way. Enriched, progressive academics; LIVED values, personal attention to each student, community bonds that last long after the students graduate, and doesn't have the snobby feel of the other privates. No wonder people stand in line to get their kids into this school!

This school helped my 6th grade child to get an A in reading, which she never had done before, and 2nd grade child to get straight A's.

I'm an ASH student. The general quality of the school is perfectly fine. They challenge all of us kids. But then the students that may not be at the Average level tend to fall behind. The extra curriculars are fine you know a lot of choices. You'll find something for every kid. The principal is fair and kind!!! The head of the middle school is like a mom away from moms!! Every student and parent likes her!!! But the students there are a bit close minded. But all around a nice school
