My oh my.....is it just me or does a principal change really alter a whol school.......for the worse. I am a life long Bridgeporter whose children attned, or have attended, BCA. Mrs. Buckley ran a tight ship but was fair and competent. Now we have Ms. Wiley who takes a day off to be an extra in a fire fghter tv show? She definitely has shown some favoritism in her staff, families, and students. The whole tone of the school has changed and definitely not in a good way. This is what happens when one is hired and has a degree without much experience. As in many jobs.. the power has all gone to Wiley's head....and it shouldn't because she pales in comparisn to Mrs.Buckley. I hope things will change because my dislike for the school does not come from the veteran teachers who are outstanding but the lady on her high horse. Maybe my youngest doesn't need to finish up here....yes they have nice facilities and all the bells and whistles but if the "leader" is like a mean girl....I can leave it all behind. Way to go Wiley....try to make your name known...good job....

My boy is in Pre-K 3 with Mrs. Jackie. He is full of smiles and knowledge when he leaves Mrs. Jackie's room. All around good things for Pre-K 3. Very excited young boy. I thrust their judgements completely :)

BCA provides a superior Catholic education. The faculty are involved educators and the Principal truly cares for every student. Student-Community interaction is encouraged which raises a more positive, responsible young adult. A fine institution!

It is a wonderful private Catholic school, with a great group of parents who are willing to always put forth effort into not only bettering their children but the school as well. It is constantly evolving, as well as the parents and their ideas.

As parents, we want our child to have the best possible education and we feel that BCA has exceeded our expectations in the quality of education that they have provided for my child. We are very proud to be apart of the BCA family. Like my son says: 'BCA ALL THE WAY'

My husband and I are both graduates of the school. The same goes for alot of the other student's parents as well. I feel very confident and comfortable every morning bringing my kids to school. I know they are well taken care of and all of the teachers and staff don't miss a beat when it comes to the kids.

Community ratings and reviews do not represent the views of GreatSchools nor does GreatSchools check their accuracy or verify the reviewers' identities. Use your discretion when evaluating these reviews.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
