Wonderful people as well as curriculum. My daughter graduated with all A's. My son currently attends and has A's and one B in Art. This school is very intricate and the teacher are always available through telephone, school phone, email,or face-to-face conference.

Im a student at hampton and i think all the teachers are cool and really care about us and i think that the school is very strict and there discepline has went up about 50% since they first opened in 2001. But i am a 8th grader and we only have 2 8th grade teachers and that is really effecting the students in a bad way.

The principal & staff really seem to care about the students. They offer extra help to the students.

Lionel Hampton is such a great school the principal and assistant principal there is very understanding, and concern about the children education. They go beyond and above to get a child assistance if struggling in a specfic subject. The teachers also find a way to keep you inform on your child performance.

As a parent, I think discipline is out of control. Teachers are very good, but lack support from the leadership. A very beautiful building. My children like the school, but wish the principal was stricter with the misbehaving kids--they say they get away with everything.
