Dodge is a very good school. The teachers work very hard with the students and they really care about the students getting the concepts that are being taught. My husband and I believe that eudcation starts at home. We instill in our daughters that this is you time, this is your education, and no one can stop you, but you. Dodge teachers, principal, and staff have assisted our family in every aspect of seeing our girls getting a quality education. I would like to see more parents get involved with their children's education. Parental involvement will guarantee higher test scores and well rounded students. I challenge Dodge staff to come up with a way to encourage parental involvement and watch Dodge ( this diamond in the rough ) become the shining star that it was reborn to be!

Well It has came a long way...The principal and the assisant principal are very good. The social worker is good also, she really has a heart for the children...I also love Mrs Brown, Mrs Sherod, Mr. B, and mrs kemp....The ones working in the office is also very respectful and helpful...The principal and the rest of the staff makes sure that evry morning and after scholl the students are in a safe environment...That means so much....You dont have to worry about your children in any harm. They are also the champions for the footyball season the won evry game but one.....

Although Dodge isn't the best school in the city of chicago, it is however the best in the area. Considering the fact that many students in each grade are at so many levels, I believe the principal and his staff are doing a good job at trying to reach those who are not up to par. I admire the staffs orderliness on the first day of school and the way they command respect from students, which I think is one reason why Dodge is more successful than schools in same area.
