MY KIDS ARE VERY HAPPY AT BEAUBIEN. THEY NEED AFTER SCHOOL SPORTS. MY SON DID 3 YEARS IN PRE-SCHOOL AND HAS CAUGHT UP ACADEMIC WISE. HE IS NOW IN KINDERGARDEN. MY DAUGHTER IS IN SIX GRADE, AND LIKES IT ALOT.
This is a great school. Great teachers and principals. Very good academics as well. I love this school.
We transferred my son to Beaubien after moving into the neighborhood, and it has been like night and day, compared to his former magnet school, we totally lucked out! I wish they had more after-school programs, and that's a wish, not a complaint!
Couldn't be happier - great learning school. I see happy parents & kids every morning and the teachers are beyond fantastic
My daughter started Beaubien at Kindergarten and is now in 1st grade. Very happy with the school. There is a good sense of parent involvement.
The school is great, my daughter goes to options program and they really teach good skills for math, reading. plus They have Latin as a second language. I only hope that they have after school programs for younger kids.
The school leadership and is not transparent. Involvement that threatens the status quo is squelched.
Most of the teachers are excellent; my children have done extremely well, and love school; this is a very good sign that it is a great school.
The academics, gifted program and neighborhood program, art, music, great teachers and terrific school community!

The school family is helpful, the educators are desirous of assisting the children, the programs are wonderful, the whole experience is as close to an old time school as you can get.
Beaubien has an amazing principal in Chris Kotis who has unbelievable foresight. His careful, thoughful budgeting over the last few years has enabled Beaubien to keep several teachers in these horrific economic times. The staff devotes itself to doing the best for all the students. Despite the few who try to bring us down, the Beaubien family continues to prepare thoughtful, capable future citizens.
Beaubien has challenged our daughter academically, while maintaining her interest. The devotion of the teachers, staff & PTO are what keeps this school great.
Beaubien has many strengths. The teachers are dedicated and hard working. The parents are supportive and enthusiastic. The children are excited about learning and love to be challenged!
For a school with so many students this school does an EXCELLENT job staying on top of the daily operations. I am amazed at how quickly the vice principal called me back and took the time to listen to my concern. Immediately I received a note from my child's homeroom teacher and got the input I needed to help my child. The overall culture of the school is one of discipline and solid European values. I feel fortunate to have my child enrolled in a school where so many of the staff and teachers know what they're doing! Mrs. 'Fly' is just one example of a teacher who loves her students and goes beyond the call of duty. Long live Beaubien!
I like Beaubien, but only because my child is in the Options program, which is excellent. He was not in the Options program in his earlier years, and at that time it was far too easy. In addition, the atmosphere of the school is not great. I tend avoid the other parents, who are mostly uneducated, rude, and tend to migrate into cliques.
