I think Brunson is a great school. Every year our school improves. Their is alot of talent their also. There are many fights but the teacher fits our needs. They understand us.We feel we can talk to them about anything. When we do we understand how and why they want us to change.I am a very smart student .I am in 6th grade, been there since kindergarten. I had the choice to go to a school in washington , but I wanted to stay here with my family and help the rest of my family there improve.Every year as we improve we have more activities. Many can draw, spell, write, play sports, dance, pom pom(me), ect.I love Brunson I hope it never closes.

Brunson is a great neighborhood school. The teachers my daughter has had have been excellent in helping her learn. I don't like the test scores of the overall school but hopefully they improve soon with the new academic structure and new principal things will change.

I am not happy with this school. My child has ADHD and last year he was put in a class with children that had all sort of disorders and I feel that a child can not learn in that type of environment. Also he had 3 different teachers that year. You are not told about resources that the school has unless you ask. I am very unhappy with this school

This is a new school and the teachers are not prepared. Too many students in one classroom, the students that need more help are not getting the attention they need or teachers quick to say this child has a learning disability and unable to give information you need inorder to help the child. No child should be left behind but if thier is no help from the principal or teacher to help these childern that has been label with learning disabilities theres really no choice but more angry parents. Why a child has to repeat a grade twice inorder for a RED Flag to go off something is wrong with the student or the way the teacher is handling the class. My son attends the summer program for 3rd grade. I ask him every day how was his day and show me what he has learned, he would say we went over some math & reading basic 1st to 2nd grade. I am not alone when I say We the parents of the students at Brunson Speciality Elementry School need help in finding a solution to this problem.
