This school has a poor administration staff and needs to inquire about hiring respectful professionals who has no breakdown in communicating with others.

It is up to the parent to start teaching the child before he or she steps foot in the school. I have 3 children who have attended this school and all of my children are above average according to ISAT test scores and on the straight -a honor roll. I think that some of primary level teachers are excellent. If you have a under achieving child don't just blame the teachers or the school. Know one should expect a failing student to go to a Magnet school and become a rocket scientist your child will have to work hard to learn no matter what school he or she is in. My oldest daughter even got credit for high school level Algebra when she was in the 7th grade at this school. I just wish thier was a band at this school.

This school is horrible. It's listed as a public magnet, that is a laugh. My child has attended this school since Kindergarten and is now in 3rd grade. Out of all the teachers my child has had, none of them have taught a thing. I have talked to the Principal several times and it's very discouraging because he asks like he doesn't even care and wants you not to care. It's really sad. I feel trapped between a rock and a hard place because this is my neighborhood school. People wonder why are children aren't succeeding, this is why. There is only so much I can teach my child as a parent, I need for the teachers and principal to do their job.
