I did a quick "Google Search" and all I could find relating to Indiana's House Bill 1001 had to do with property tax limitations...Admittedly, I didn't spend a lot of time looking (I don't live in IN) but you might try calling your local representative's office, and asking them about it...

This would be Indiana House Bill HB-1001 sponsored by Indiana Families for Virtual Public Schools. If passed, Indiana children would have access to a free online public school education from grades k-12. I think anything that grants our students access to alternative forms of education that meet or exceeds current state standards is great! But I also know that similar legislation has failed in the past to to our elected officials buckeling to the pressure of the teachers union. I guess they don't want the competion. The only way hb-1001 will pass is if parents contact their representitives and voice their support. I know I will be calling mine.

hmm... interesting... I have never heard of it. I know that I have been supplementing my sons public education for the past year and something like this would be VERY helpful. Does anyone else have any pros and cons on this?

That contact number is: 866-838-9015
I guess they have got a big push on to contact local state reps due to the fact that the bill comes up for final vote in nine days. I sure hope that it passes. Please let me know if you find out anything else. Thanks
