Not impressed at all with this school. Principal and many teachers not friendly. If your child needs extra help or has issues, definitely find another school district. This school has no tolerance for anything short of model behavior from a child. You would think that the child /teacher ratio would ensure a good education, absolutely untrue. The teachers do no more than they must. There are no specials for those in need. The school will not deviate on anything other than policy and their answer is detention or suspension. If a homework assignment is not done, a detention is given again, and again, and again. School is small and very cliquey. Some classes are so small, your child can feel alienated. I have lived in the school district for more than 20 years. School calendar has many half days or early dismissals. I suggest any school district other than Creston.
awesome art teacher. my kids can't wait for art class. Other teachers great, too. small classes are the best.
This place is pretty good for my child, he has made great friends, but has gotten lower grades then the last school. I don't know if its the teachers, or.... Some of the teachers are very nice. but when it comes to to parent involvement, this place is excelent. Cudos to you, creston middle school.
I cannot say enough good things about our school. I found my child challanged,on a daily basis, and was held accountable for his actions actions or lack of. A First rate school, yet small. Rated top school in ISAT. A great place for a child to learn...
Creston school offers a very low student teacher ratio, so the level of attention for each student assures that every student is getting an A+ education. The teachers there (grades 1,2,3) are outstanding, kind, and level-headed. we love this school and were very sad to have have left. They offer music in 4th grade, allthough because of the small population a student might be pressured to play a 'certain' instrument. But the music teacher is awesome...dynamic. My dealings with the principal...not so hot. When confronted with issues, he does not get back with you. Does not really deal with questions asked. they offer the benefits of computers, typing class, their own gym teacher.
