Our three kids have attended Lord and Savior since they were in preschool. You couldn t ask for a better school! The teachers are kind, intelligent, enthusiastic and caring. All that lend to our children s spiritual growth and academic excellence. Our class sizes are small, but manageable. This allows the teacher to get to know each child s individual needs; therefore creating a great working relationship with the parents. The best part is the Christ centered education that will prepare my children to handle issues in a Christian manner. I know that when my children leave Lord and Savior they will have an enriched life with all that this school has provided us.

Young energetic teachers + rigorous curriculum + Christian environment = GREAT SCHOOL After months of tutoring, we decided to enroll our son primarily for the small class size, knowing that he thrives with more individualized attention. From the first day to present we have been continually pleased with his improving academic achievements, and with the young, energetic teaching staff who make learning fun. Our son has been able to participate in sports as a 4th grader, and be mentored by the upper classmen that assist the younger students with sports, academics, or something as simple as tying a shoelace. The school has a very high percentage of active parents are, and there are many opportunities for enrichment via fieldtrips. We are now moving our daughter to this school because of the success we have experienced with our son. Combine this environment with a challenging curriculum and watching my son's faith grow, we can't say enough good things about Lord & Savior.

Our children have been enrolled at Lord and Savior since preschool and have continued to excel. There are multi-grade classrooms, but the class sizes are small and allow the student's to maximize their individual abilities. I think the interaction with students from various grade levels helps the students develop in ways that they would not at much larger schools. The younger students are introduced to more advanced concepts, and the older students develop strong leadership skills. The Christian values taught at Lord and Savior are evident in the way the students interact with each other. Lord and Savior offers co-ed sports from grades 3-8 (softball, cross country, soccer, basketball and track and field). The sports program, coupled with a strong physical education curriculum, helps build a foundation of fitness and health. The diverse curriculum and before/after care are great benefits. It is truly a community atmosphere and high-quality education at Lord and Savior.

Great concept of multiage classes but the potential of 4 grades in one classroom and taught by one teacher was something I felt did not work well. Too much time taken from one grade because too much focus put on one grade. The school is too small altough they did provide an ok education, I felt that subjects were not all being taught at my child's grade level. I felt that the teachers were a bit too strict and my child thought the teacher was always in a bad mood.

Lord & Savior is a great school and keeps getting better every year. With the addition of the new (AWESOME) pre-school teacher this year, the school is poised to grow and bring a quality, affordable, Christian education to more members of the community. The multi-grade classrooms allow students to learn at their own levels and feel challenged. The grading scale is TOUGH, but makes the students really work hard for their A's. Give the principal (Joel Moeller) a call and request a tour, he's an excellent administrator and always willing to go the extra mile for the school.

My children have been attending Lord and Savior for a few years now, and my children love this school so much they wake up early to go to class. The faculty are outstanding, and the principal is very much involved. There are small class sizes which my children receive needed one on one time, as well as all the children of every grade interacts with one another. Lord and Savior has done an awesome job fostering parent and child relationships, as well as providing a caring learning environment. I recommend this school very highly!

We started our oldest in the Preschool at 3 years old and he will be entering Kindergarten this fall. I have another child in the preschool, and another child set to start in the fall. The school is amazing. The small class sizes are so beneficial to the children. I can honestly say that we moved to Crystal Lake to continue the education with this school for our three children, and I am so happy with our choice. The Christian foundation is helping to mold the kids into wonderful people, and we feel very blessed to be part of the Lord and Savior family.

My children have been going to L & S since they were in preschool. They are both are above average students and are excelling at all levels. The Christian Education teaches my children right from wrong andd backs up our family values in the way the Lords wants us to. The one on one teaching ensures that my children understand and know what they are learning and not 'just getting by'. The families and teachers are welcoming and reach out to us. We are welcomed to help out in anyways possible! We love Lord and Savior!

I currently have two children attending this school and had one graduate who is now in college. The children I believe are receiving a great education beyond the three 'R's'. I hold the values taught have a much higher place than any academics. Of course there is a tuition. I believe price is what you pay and value is what you get. The value to me is well worth the price.

I moved my oldest daughter here after six years in the public schools resulted with her being functionally illiterate. Small class sizes and involved teachers have really helped turn things around for her. My younger children now attend Lord and Savior also.

I started my daughter here 2/3 of her way through 5th grade when the public school had failed her tremendously and testing showed her at a 2nd grade level. My son started kindergarten here after the public run preschool wouldn't work with him because he was 'autistic'-he is now in first grade with no issues other than any other 6 year old boy. My 4 year old daughter is in the preschool and is loving it.
