Edison School is a great school. While we were rezoned to a different elementary school, we petitioned to stay at Edison. Furthermore, when our son had the opportunity to attend the magnet program in the District, he and we chose for him to stay at Edison. There is a VERY active PTA the provides an enormous amount of time and funds for the school. The Music Program provides great opportunities for the students to explore this fine art program, and has developed many great performers. This program has provided more members to the JR High Award Winning Show Choir than any other elementary school who's students transition to that Jr High. The Librarian is extremely dedicated to create a life long love of reading. Finally, the Principal is excellent. He listens to the parents, is very firm, but level headed with the students, even the more difficult, strong willed students. Edison is the Best!
