Excellent school. Gets better every year with fantastic testing scores. But that is only part of the story. Continuously receiving awards with 4th year principle (2012) Dr. Stein. Teachers are always interested in the students achievements in and out of school. PTC is a good strong support of the families and school.

Great School! Small, close knit bunch! Very family oriented. Couldn't ask for a better school for my children!

My daughter went to this school for 2 years and finally we moved out of the district. The parents are very involved but the Principal was terrible. He allowed a teacher to refuse to accomodate my daughter's learning disability. There also aren't many extraciricular activities.

About the tests

In 2011-2012 Illinois used the Illinois Standards Achievement Test (ISAT) to test students in grades 3 through 8 in reading and math, and in grades 4 and 7 in science. The ISAT is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Illinois. The goal is for all students to score at or above the state standard.
