As a current eighth grade student at St. Zachary, I would recommend this school to anyone in the area. Not only are we prepared academically for high school, but we are also taught morality and respect for others. The small class sizes are great for learning and for teachers to get to know their students better. Just look at our test scores for proof! The thing I like best, though, is everyone's friendliness and openness towards each other. Peer pressure is definitely minimized, and it should be easy to make friends. Extracurricular activities are fun and enjoyable. Overall, St. Zachary is a great place to be!
St. Zachary Catholic School is truly excellent in all areas. A Catholic education at St. Zachary begins with an outstanding preschool program for 3 and 4 year olds which meets 4 days per week. Full day kindergarten is offered with a robust curriculum. Test scores not only meet but exceed those for the Archdiocese of Chicago as well as for surrounding schools in the Northwest suburbs. An extended day program provides a safe, nurturing environment for both before and after school care. Our Catholic values are incorporated in all that we teach, learn and do each day. Children are spiritually, academically, socially and physically fit when they move on to high school. St. Zachary's many strengthts make it an outstanding choice for a complete Catholic education from Preschool through 8th grade.
