It is a place where the 3Rs are taught and learned in a sensitive Christian atmosphere. Thanks be to God for teachers and students alike!
St. Peter's is a down to earth school with some of the best teachers i have ever met. Children receive one on one attention and the school atmosphere is great!
We're a small School. The best one on one a child could get! Fantastic lunches, just like Grandma would make!
St. Peter's is a wonderful school to get a Christian education. My children went to school at St. Peter's very recently and have moved on to the public school system and have done GREAT academically. St. Peter's provides the small classroom environment in which the teacher has a great amount of time to devote to each student. When my children did not understand something, the teachers were always able to spend time to explain whatever my child needed explained to them. There was always plenty of time during and after school to spend with the teacher to make sure they understood everything. Most important of all, everything was Christ centered. St. Peter's has a wonderful teaching staff and a great Pastor to compliment the teachers. The Principal updates the curriculum every year so that it is up to date. St. Peter's School is a wonderful place to send your child.
The quality of the academics at St. Peter's is extremely poor. The children are 'up' to their academic grade level. The teachers are not willing to change their curriculum in any way and, as a result, a lot of the students have a difficult time catching up when it is time to move onto high school. Students' behavioral problems are another issue the school. But teachers and the principal do nothing about it. The teachers' attitudes are very rightous and they basically 'dare' you to try to change ANYTHING at that school. I would rate this school VERY POOR. The only good thing about St. Peter's is the students (minus the behavioral problems) and their parents - they are a very supportive and nice group of people.
