Lakeview was built in 1975 and has always been grades 6-8 Lakeview jr high school is a part of ccsd66

I have had three children graduate from LV and am pleased with the school enviroment, resources, leadership and teaching - each of my children were well prepared for HS. In our case, the math and music programs stood out most.

Lakevie is a wonderful school. The kids are friendly and come from a very family oriented community. The teachers are exceptional. This is a great school district!

The higher expectations of the new standards will result in a downward shift of where students rank in meeting or exceeding standards.
