Eastwood Elementary is located in a working class town, so the test scores may not be the best. The teachers who work there are exemplary though and many of them have master's degree in elementary education. Those that don't have an MA have 20-30 years of teaching experience. The principal, Matt Stimac, is dedicated and involved in the local community. The only problem I have with the area is that I wish there was more ethnic diversity.

All the teachers here in this school always put the children first.they give full attention to each and every child on a one to one basis.my son at 3rd. grade is reading at a fifth grade reading level.thanks to the teachings.all the teachers in this school are kind and care very much for their students.

The higher expectations of the new standards will result in a downward shift of where students rank in meeting or exceeding standards.
