Mrs. Patton is a wonderful principal. The teachers do a great job with the students. My daughter excelled at this school.

I love the principal most. She is proof that good things trickle down. She spends 15-30 minutes every morning engaging the children with interactive activities and reading. This 15-30 minutes doubles as a grace period for parents who are still arriving to drop children off. She is always present. Her car is the first there and the last to leave. She is a mom and it shows in how she demonstrates her stern but loving care for each student. Bus service drops the kids off at school early enough for breakfast and is almost always prompt down to the minute. Tutoring is available and free. My only complaint is that it only goes to 2nd grade. :(

This school is a great example of 'it takes a village to raise a child'. A loving and caring extended family. The welcoming of diversity and amazing parent involvement make it so sad to move on. Plenty of EC activities. Wish they had an 'advanced' program but a great academic program none the less. My children love school!
