Just the right school that I can recommend to parents whose concern of serious teachings and learnings for their kids religiously and academically. The principal is awesome, who has been there for a while, doing a superb job. No one can i ever compare for her kind-hearted, approachable, compassionate, understanding, and knowledgeable principal. Great faculty, great school and affordable one. You'll never regret sending your child in this school.

An excellent choice for elementary grades Pre-K through 8. Principal is extremely responsive to parents. Low student/teacher ratio and long-term, dedicated staff means students receive personal attention and are well known to staff throughout grade levels. Full-day, M-F, pre-K and Kindergarten classes; Gymnasium largest in area (including Public School System); Multi-cultural environment facilitates student appreciation for diveristy in our community; Iowa Test scores routinely well-above area average; Home & School association active, with high percentage of parental involvement in variety of extra-curricular activities including holiday gatherings, community works and fundraising for enhancement of school environment (new playground equipment 2004, library upgrade 2002); My children have attended for the past 10 years, and I look forward to the next 7 years until my youngest graduates as a proud alum of St. Joseph Catholic School.

Principal lacks compasion, but support staff excels. Not enough to make up for the lagging teaching staff. 1st grade teacher is almost perfect. But, it is still so much better than public schools! School is ok, but I'd look elsewhere first!
