I went to Eureka as a child and moved back into the area so my kids could experience it. This school is good for kids at all levels and has a very good work ethic. The teachers are so sweet and caring and have watched a couple of my former teachers retire which was bittersweet.

I have a son who is very gifted and a daughter who is struggling some, this school has stepped in and has been great in helping both with their needs.

I went to this school when I was a little girl and now my children have experienced this school. I was for sure when I took my children to school the teachers I had would never recognize me. All three of them looked at me and got all excited and ask me how I was doing. The teachers here love their job, but most of all they love their students. May God bless them!

About the tests

In 2011-2012 Illinois used the Illinois Standards Achievement Test (ISAT) to test students in grades 3 through 8 in reading and math, and in grades 4 and 7 in science. The ISAT is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Illinois. The goal is for all students to score at or above the state standard.
