I agree that faculty/administrators can be condescending when addressing problems with students. It definitely causes parents to become defensive or at least question the motives of the faculty/administrators. While it is nice to have your children enrolled in a classroom with a 14 to 1 ratio, it is disheartening to look at the ISAT scores for 2011 (particularly for 5th graders). Test scores two years ago were pretty decent...2011 I can't say that.

We have a great school with lots of community support. Our teachers work towards quality education which shows in our state test scores. Support staff are always thinking of kids first. Our local PIE raises money to buy needed equipment for both the children and the teachers.

The kids learn, but often staff/faculty are rude and condescending when addressing all variety of problems with parents. Besides being unnecessary, this attitude creates more problems than it solves.
