Ford Heights S.D. 169 is not meeting the needs of the students. They have cut high quality teachers for the past two years due to political reasons and so called budget woes. They have reduced the number of classes at the elementary level by one or two classrooms. Medgar Evers will be overcrowded next year and students will not be afforded the quality education they deserve.

I agree with the teacher, my child been goin there for awhile and have no problem, doin real good with keeping up with he/her grades. My mom even liked the way they teached. Its not all about the paycheck they have a good staff. If the parents was more involed in there kids school work they wouldn't have a problem either instead of lettin them run around all nite

This school dist. Has changed a lot in the last 15 years. It seems as the school needs more help from the community. I understand that it is onyly so much that the teachers can do in a days work, but some teachers give all teachers a bad name. They act as if it is all of the children's fault because the school is not running the way they think it should be. I am truely disappointed in the school system. I do not understand how a school dist. That is that much in need do not have the funds to provide the arts and sports programs that was there to help past students excel. I just do not understand whats going to happen to these children. Someone needs to really step up and not just for the perss.

This is the worst school to send your kids to. The teachers and the principal don't care if the kids learn they care about themselves and their paycheck!
