This school claims to be a christian school yet there kids are the dirtiest and unsportsman like on the athletic fields. please do not let the name fool you.
I have 2 children in the Aquin School system and struggle at times to pay tuition, but make the necessary sacrifices to continue to send my kids to this great learning institution not only because of the christian values that the faculty and staff instill, but also because my children are far better off and more prepared for their next academic challenge as compared to the public school system in Freeport. Parents, I urge you to send your children here to better prepare for their futures as caring, honest and hard working individuals. Even if your not catholic, this school system is top notch.
Though class choice is slim, Aquin has extraordinary teachers. There is much school spirit and many extracurricular activities. The administration does a less than desirable job.
Aquin is an excellent school academically. The elective choices are few, however the quality of faculty and staff out weights it. Extra curricular activities are available to students, but again the selection is not as great as a public school. The quality education and the one-on-one assistance from teachers is worth the lack of electives and extra curricular activities. Leadership and service to your school and community is something that most students take away with them.
this is a horrible school, verry little academic choices as well as poor quality elective options.
Aquin is an outstanding school because of the spiritual guidelines that are are promoted in both curricular and extra curricular activities.Great leadership is provided by the superintendent, who works constantly with the teachers to help iimprove their performance. The teachers are very dedicated, and loyal because it is a Catholic Christian school. There are a number of retired teachers teaching part time that have a lot of successful experience and enjoy teaching. The classes are small and that improves the individual attention each student receives. Judeo - Christian values are enforced evenly in all phases of student activity. Parental involvement is very high. There is a good peer mentoring program, and a program administered by the National Honor Society to help students with academic deficiencies. ACt scores are well above average for the nation and state.
