Great teachers, great school. My child has had the best years at this school. They have music, art and drama.

Glen Grove got a new principal at the beginning of the 2005-2006 school year, and is working closely with the already dedicated teachers to find best practices and put them into all the classrooms. She is working to know each of the kids individually, not only by name, but as a person. Most of the teachers are excellent, and most have masters and several have doctorate degrees. Our experience in the TREE program (3-5 grade multi-age) was very good in that the kids truly get individual attention and do in depth projects (powerpoint, instead of posters) on topics of their choice. Most teachers in traditional classrooms are dedicated and educate the whole student. Parent involvement is very high through PTA and class volunteerism. There is pride in the wide diversity among the students. The student support team (LD/special ed) is excellent and most have been there for many year.
