The school has excellent teachers and wonderful family based after school activities! My foster child did not get to start school until a bit later than the other children but she was welcomed by staff and other children. She is completely happy now!

My child use to go to this school until we moved out of the area. I absolutely loved and still miss this school. The teachers I encountered were all wonderful and I don't know what the heck the other reviewers are talking about. It was the worst part about moving to another area:(

My Daughter went to this school , and she was not raised with the attitude she was better than others and this school carries an attitude that they are better . So my child was always seemed to be looked down on . This is how she felt. So as I got involved with the school, many school employees made me also feel that way . I'm glad she is out of that school. Teaching your child to be click-ish is not a good thing to teach children in today's times. As far as parent involvement , thats because the school frowns on parents helping. The school officials have their choice of parents they want involved and thats it. Many times have I tried to be involved and they have sent me home . So they can not complain about not having enough parents when they are turning parents down.

This school lacks involvement of parents and staff has pretty well always had a snotty attitude. I can not say that I have any kind words for what this school has to offer any of its children. The have employed a new principal which hopefully will help them.

I have not been made aware of any academic programs provided by Maryville. My daughter consistently ask about things she could possibly do in school. There is nothing for the 2d graders to be involved in. I have not been asked to the school to participate in anything other than a Christmas play which I thougt was sort of odd.
