My daughter was very well prepared for college. They have many AP classes available for students to get some gen eds out of the way as well and other programs such as tech prep where students can get some college credits during their high school years as well. For the most part, all the teachers are phenomenal. Service there is great too.

Hampshire High School is a test based school their grading scale makes it impossible for a student to be prepared for college level classes. The administration is more concerned about the way the community and the parents see the scholl than they are educating our children.

Hampshire High was great when I was there. The teachers actually care about their students and get to know you on a personal level.

About the tests

In 2011-2012 Illinois used the Prairie State Achievement Examination (PSAE) to test students in grade 11 in reading, math and science. The PSAE is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Illinois. The goal is for all students to score at or above the state standard.
