This school is in need of some serious attention. The curricula is lacking in every discipline. As anywhere, some teachers are wonderful & others could use a change of career. Unfortunately I think this school has too many teachers that fall into the latter category. There is plenty of support for children who need added attention, but not a single program for children who are 'advanced', for lack of better term. After school programs are increasing - if your child is older. There is a lot of parental support. I think this support is under utilized, however.
I think this school needs a teacher revamp. There are some that need to retire. Sorry! I also feel that there are to many parents 'employed' by the district. You can have to much parent involvment. These parent's children do no wrong. Too much gossip. Discipline should also happen at home. Parents need to stop thinking their kids do nothing wrong and let the school handle it. We do need more outside of school field trips, ie; museums and etc. School acedemics could use updating.
