I love Huntley High School! I have 4 graduates from the school, working on number 5. My four graduates have all gone to college and one is an Electrical Engineer, one has his Masters in Physics, two are still in college. They have all had an excellent high school education that they used to further their education! I am so glad my children went to Huntley. They also have central air and newer buildings so they are comfortable during school. Love it!
Great HS! Test scores going through the roof. Freshman Academy is a great way to cultivate focused and goal related students. The teachers and staff are great and very supportive. This school offers every possible opportunity to help your child excel and enjoy his time at HHS. Plenty of Honors and AP classes. Loads of after school activities and clubs. Great Football program.
It's got great academics and extra curricular activites!
I love Huntley High School. I've been a student there for 3 years, and I wish I finish my last year there because I've had lots of fun there
huntley is good they have good teachers
Shouldn't I be paying for an education like this? Huntley High School absolutely floored me from the moment I walked in. The food is not only nutritious, but delicious- the chicken patties on thursday are to die for! The staff is friendly especially Mr. Tichy and Mrs. Olson McGee. I could not have asked for a better, cleaner, safer enviroment to become the C student I am today.
This school is absolutely phenomenal. There is so much going at the school and it still continues to withold being known for its size. The area never ends with new subdivision and they all proudly advertise D158 schools! that's such an honor. The sports programs are on the come back, the fine arts programs are out of this world, i could not be any happier with a high school. As a senior they allowed me to have as much help as possible with my guidance counselour. Their offices are full of information for those who seek it. Check out hhs! you wont regret it!
I go to Huntley high and im a freshman I love this school. The teachers help out a lot. I'm in sped and I think huntley is going good
HHS is a quickly growing high school which has managed to keep the 'growing pains' to a minimum by the passing of referendums and strong community support. The school atmosphere is safe and positive. Teacher commitment is strong. Parent support is ever-increasing. The curriculum is geared towards seeing that all types of learners succeed...from the AP college-bound learners to the special education learners.
This school is small but growing, and I give a lot of credit to the district for approving referendum to help fund the schools and keep class sizes down. I believe the academic programs are above average (not excellent, but for a small town they are good.) The extracurriculars will improve as the school growns, I have been disappointed with the available sports, esp for girls. Parents are very involved, there is a good connection between the school, parents, families, and the community. I think in 5 years this will be one of the better high schools in the region.
