My son just completed 6th grade. I love this school. The teachers, and staff are wonderful! It is only 2 years old and very well equipped.

I could not be happier with Matthews Middle School. The facility, the teachers, the administrators, the parent involvement are all outstanding. My 6th grader is extremely happy there, and he has typically not been enthused about school in general.

Lead by terrificly involved administrators who know the kids by name, this school staff are hand-on, enthusiastic, responsive and on-point in working with both kids and parents. The building, opened as a new school in fall of 2007, gleems, and is surrounded by rolling farmland - a peaceful and pleasant school setting. They still are putting in outdoor athletic facilities, which are sorely needed. For children in need of academic or social help navigating middle school, counselor Mark 'Jake' Jacobsen is a trusted and smart ally - helping kids with their part of implementing plans to manage ADHD, social challenges, learning disabilities or whatever the need might be. My child thrives here.
