Did a Civil War enrichment activity for Gurrie. The most visually stimulating and engaging history class I have ever seen. Teacher loves her job and her kids. They were well- prepared, attentive and responsive. They really "got it". A joy to teach at such a place. If the rest of the school is as good it would be worth buying a house in the district! I was THAT impressed.

This school is GREAT! Teachers and all staff are excellent and care about their students. Excellent opportunities for all students. My son has had an excellent experience there!

Great school with many positive people to guide our children. Everyone seems to care. If you have issues, they are helpful. This school has happy children. I love this school and so does my grandson.

About the tests

In 2011-2012 Illinois used the Illinois Standards Achievement Test (ISAT) to test students in grades 3 through 8 in reading and math, and in grades 4 and 7 in science. The ISAT is a standards-based test, which means it measures how well students are mastering specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Illinois. The goal is for all students to score at or above the state standard.
