The preschool is great, but the quality of academics suffer as the child moves out of preschool. Average academics compared to surrounding schools. Lacking especially in language arts and creative writing. The classes and the school are so small that some children may feel suffocated or over-analyzed. Huge emphasis on perfect behavior, which can lead to low self esteem for some children. Nice religion program.

This school is beyond my wildest dreams ! If I could list everything I could ever want for my children in a place where they will be from ages 4-14 , 10 months out of the year, 5 days a week, and 7 plus hours a day this school surpasses it one million times. I don't even need to talk about it publically because the " proof is in the pudding " my kids and all the East Lake students stand out from the rest ..... the BEST thing I ever did for my kids was send them to ELA !

This is our first year at East Lake Academy. Our son is in PK4 and so far we absolutely LOVE our experience. Our son is cleary challenged academically and feels respected and truly loved by his teachers. This is a great school for the "hands-on parent" who is willing to take an active role and follow through at home with lessons and behavior learned at school. I can't say enough good things about East Lake Academy. I'm so glad we made the decision to give our son such an amazing start in life!

I have two daughters at East Lake Academy. Our oldest started in PK3 and is now in third grade. Deciding to send my children to East Lake was one of the best decision I've made in my life. The teachers and the faculty truly are an extension of our role as parents. We share the same mission. To form our children to be the best versions of themselves they can possible be. In the early years, we had concerns about lack of sports, art, etc.... Currently all the concerns we've ever had have been addressed. The school has been blessed with an overwhelming interest in it. As the school has grows it keeps getting better. Academically - the test results speak for themselves. As for the rest of the child's formation - visit the school and meet the students. You'll see why East Lake is so special. I'm excited to see these confident Catholic leaders heading out into the world to change it for the better.

The number one reason I love East Lake Academy is because my children are so loved and respected by the teachers and administration. The Christian environment allows the teachers to focus not only on the school's stellar academics, but also on spiritual attributes. In a world where materialism and bullying are a a reality for many children, East Lake Academy provides a shelter in which the children can concentrate on what's really important: learning and growing.

My children are in middle school and we transferred from another area school. The language arts, history/geography and math programs are like no other. My children are reading classics including works like Tom Sawyer, To Kill a Mockingbird and Shakespeare. The math curriculum is so strong which was one of the reasons we switched. The Catholic formation they receive is authentic in every way. My children are finally challenged academically and spiritually to their potential which is what they deserve.

I have had several children attend East Lake Academy and my older ones are now applying to local private high schools. East Lake has has an incredible effect upon them both academically and spiritually. Not only has East Lake helped form my children into good people but they have provided an incredible academic advantage. Both of my older children are placing into junior level math, literature, history and spanish at the local private Catholic high schools.. its just what they promised when we joined. I disagree with the comment about middle school below. The middle school has far exceeded any other local private or public school

My children have attended this school for a few years. We have been extremely happy with the education they have received. The school has been academically a grade ahead of the area schools and the academic expectations are high. The spanish classes taught here in the upper grades are comparable to the first and maybe the second year of spanish in high school. The class sizes are small and the teachers show an absolute concern for their students and families. The school provides a very safe environment for the children. All children in this school are involved with one another.

I am proud to be a Parent at East Lake Acedemy. My daughter started in Pre k 4 and now is in Kindergarten and reading above her peers in Public schools. Her relious knowledge is infectious to anyone who listens to her. God bless the day I found East Lake... Cathy A Proud Parent

This school was pretty good. I recommend coming to this school for the elementary part. This school is very advance in the younger grades, but then becomes the same as all of the other schools in the area. However, this school teaches religion better than any school I know.

My children have been at East Lake for half a year. I cannot believe how much they are excelling and thriving. The teachers and staff are highly motivated and enthusiastic. Everyone has the same philosophy of faith and academics. My children enjoy school and are working a grade ahead of their peers. The class sizes are small so everyone gets individual attention. The school is relatively new and growing, so it doesn't offer the extra curricular activities or sports of other schools, but the education and teaching of the Catholic faith far outweigh this only drawback. They have added a basketball team, which is a good start.

My children have attended this school for several years. They are advanced academically. They have strong moral character. The environment is safe, friendly and wonderful for children. The uniform requirement is strict and much needed in today's society. My daughter has learned to dress modestly unlike her same age peers do. As far as extracurricular activities, the school is lacking organized sports. My children are involved in travel sports in our community which provide them better competition than any local school can provide. The school provides academic clubs such as chess club and math club.

East Lake is a great school with excelled classes. My only complaint about this school is the lack of sports, gym only twice a week and recess only two times a week. My children come home with an explosive amount of energy that I believed would be better channeled if they had sports and recess as an outlet.

East Lake is a truly awesome school. The teachers and administration really care about the students individually. The parental involvment is also superior to none, the parents are so involved that the school is like a family of its own. It is a bit expensive, but I believe that it is worth every penny.

East Lake Academy is having a great impact on my children. The academics are challenging but the teachers do a great job imparting knowledge in a way that builds the children's confidence. Choosing East Lake was a great decision for us and we highly recommend it to others.
