I would have to agree with one of the other parents. If the kids didn't like the school, it's probably because there are rules there. The teachers care, and they don't want the students to grow up to be disrespecful or rude. Also, if the parents wanted to see things change, then the should get more involved in their childs school!
As a parent, I have seen this school work with other students. If a student did not like the school, it was because they could not get away with what they wanted to do.
Great principal and teachers with this Christ-centered facility!
So glad I have chosen to send my daughter to school here. Excellent staff and educational opportunities.
My 2 kids are receiving a great education at Calvary and, more importantly, growing in their faith every day.
My daughter has attended this school for two years and has received a great education.
My children attend Calvary in Lake Villa and I have nothing but great things to say about it. The pre-K program is fantastic and the staff is caring and family focused. The 1st-8th grade program is exceptional. My daughter is only in 1st grade and has known cursive and reading (chapter books) since kindergarten. CCA also offers onsite before/after school club, a wonderful summer camp program, and several family events throughout the school year. The cost is very reasonable and you will not regret it with the quality staff and education you receive. It was more affordable for my kindergartner to go to CCA full time than to go to the public school and pay for after school club. The principal is top notch and knows all of the families and really does a great job instilling good values and strong academic skills in the students. We love the teachers, too!
My daughter goes to Calvary Christian School and it is an excellent school with small class sizes and a good curriculum.
My son has is in the Pre-K program. I think the teachers there are wonderful and they really care about teaching the children. I love the fact that thier curriculum is based on phonics, early reading skills, they really work with the children to have them reading even before they are in kindergarten. My daughter will start in their 3 year old class this fall. I will definitely keep them at CCS as long as possible.
I am a former student and I love CCS. I learned so much while attending CCS. The teachers do care about you and helped me become a better person. I am now studying to be a teacher and looking forward to investing in young lives just as the faculty and staff at CCS invested in mine.
