I LOVE Reavis School! I have subsitute taught there on many occasions for ECHO and have been at many schools in the district. Reavis is my favorite place to work at! The staf are superb, the curriculum is full, and well I like all the staff that I have come in contact with! I would LOVE to work here full time! I like all the smiles and good feelings that are in this school! Liz
The teachers are excellent but the administrative staff is HORRIBLE, I,as parent don't feel welcome. There seems to be a lot of yellling there is no respect, I cant wait to get my child out of this school. Once again the teachers are GREAT! Especially Mr. Chapluka 4th grade
The teaching staff at Reavis is Amazing, The administrative staff however could use some improving. The Principal shy's away from dicipline for fear of upseting minority parents. Also parent poarticipation is horrible. I cant wait to get my child out of this district.
I have 3 children that attend Reavis and I don't believe that it is a good enviroment. There seems to be a lot of yellling and discipling instead of structured discipline. The teachers are excellent but the administrative staff needs to be replaced.
I feel that Reavis School is an excellent school. I have 3 kids attending at the time and all their teachers are great. The school offers afterschool activities as well as tutoring which I have taken advantage of. They are up to date with the no child left behind act and also offer a hot lunch program. My children are happy with classes activities and all teachers and aids. There is also a PTA for the parents to join and many have, but more involvement would be great. I feel that the quality of the academics is great, my children are challenged daily. I would recommend this school to anyone thinking of enrolling their childern here.
There seems to be a lack of involvement on the parents part, but the teachers are excellent. I think this is a working class area in which many parents are working and their availability is very limited. My daughter is in kindergarten and has been learning many new things. They also have a great extracurricular program called project pride in which the students are able to use their creativity to work on projects that beautify the school. My daughter loves it. She loves school and the teacher does an excellent job to make learning fun.
This school has an excellent curriculum and the teachers are dynamite. However, the school does not offer any after-school activities for children whoes parents work.
