My daughter has been in private school for most of her life. She went another public school for 1 semester before attending Heritage. The curriculum is great. Comparable to the that of the private school.

Heritage is a very good school. The staff as a whole is a top notch, caring, and a helpful group. They work very hard to make the school a pleasant learning environment for all students. I see a nice variety of learning experiences created for the kids. There are plenty of extra activities available beyond the school day (sports, academics, & special interest(art & music). I see a definite lack of parental involvement despite the many events planned to include parents in their child's learning environment throughout the school year (from Open House, conferences, Literacy Nights, science fair, sporting events, a wonderful academic fair at the end of the school year, Parents are also asked to serve on committees such as technology and discipline. We as parents need to support the school and promote the importance of learning to out kids so they can be successful!

Overall, Heritage is a good school. The principal and teachers are focused on creating an atmosphere that promotes learning and the academic success of each student. The academic programs are of high quality, although there is room for more artistic extracurricular activities. The main concern I have as a parent is the number of new students being enrolled seemingly every week. There are a large number of new homes that have been built in the district, and this growing population adds significantly to the school population and class size. This of course has a negative impact on the attention the teachers are able to give to each student. Parent involvement is good; I really appreciate receiving weekly email updates from each of my daughter's teachers.

Heritage is a great school. The Staff along with the Teachers are very caring and work with on your child's individual needs. They also will be more than willing to communicate with parents via e-mail which I really liked because of my hectic work schedule.

Academic programs are good, staff work hard to provide programs of interest to students. Music and art available, could use a few more sports and academic clubs. There is a lack of parent involvement in school which seems to get worse every year even though the school provides at least 3 oportunities a year for family fun &/or and education.

I recentaly attend Heritage Middle School and am in 7th grade. I would have to say that the teacher at this school could use some improvement. The extracurricular activites are decent.the principal is a great peson. Our schools PTA does a lot of thigs to raise money for our school. The safty and discipline are good.
