We Love this school! You get what you put into a school! The parents are very involved and the teachers and staff are very dedicated and caring! I have been to larger schools and they didn't even know my kids names! The community is caring and loving and full of wonderful families!

We moved from the public school where everyone seems to believe them superior. However, after sitting on curriculum committees in the public school & parent boards, their unwillingness to make changes to improve academics and safety at the school led us to St. Joes. We have learned that St Joes is far superior in academics, structure, teacher quality and kindness, and provides a solid foundation of respect and positive values. St Joes was recently awarded a Blue Ribbon. Privates must apply & meet outstanding criteria to receive this award. Bottom line, children are more happy, more secure, more focused and far superior in academic discipline as a result of this school and the teachers that truly care about their well being and success. Catholic teachers are paid less but they are there because they care. Its not about the money, its about the

My children are in kindergarten and 1st grade, and we've been at St. Joe's since they were both in 3-year-old preschool. Excellent teachers, involved administration and a wonderful learning environment for my children!

I am a parishoner of St. Joseph Church, attended and graduated St. Joseph School and am a parent of 3 children who are currently attending. I graduated with a Bachelors in Elementary Education and a Master's in Reading. For the last 7 years, I have actively observed the teachers nurture a love of learning at each grade level and have successfully engaged my children in the faith based education St. Joseph School offers to each and every student. The teachers continue their education though programs which our Principal carefully considers for institute and/or encourages for outside seminars. As an educator, I believe that a measure of a principal's worth can often be judged by the staff's overall attitude. I have found the staff to be approachable and genuinely accepting of ideas and suggestions. St. Joseph School offers an excellent program!

I have had children at St. Joe's for over 12 years and have loved every minute of it. Even when my kids had struggles, either with schoolwork or classmates everything was dealt with in a timely, caring and satisfactory way. I believe you get back what you put in, at any school, and we have been blessed to be a part of the St. Joe's community!

Given the quality of schools in the area, there is no reason to pay tuition for an average education. The teachers aren't paid as much as public counterparts which is fine with them because little is required of them and that is what is delivered. Very few good teachers. Cliques among mothers and children make parents feel like its high school all over again. Unbelievable that these women consider themselves Christian and then act like this. Environment is conducive to bullying because nothing is done to prevent it even though I wrote letters and made calls. I pulled my kids out after 3 years and found a more Christian environment in the public schools. In spite of being a Catholic school, true Chritian behaviour and kindness does not exist at this school. Principal is uninterested in improving quality of school and does not respond when complaints are filed.

This school has been detrimental to my children's desire to attend classes. The teachers are incredibly unprofessional. The principal is aloof. The atmosphere is chaotic and unorganized and doesn't provide a rich academic environment where a student can thrive. After spending a short time at this institution, I had no choice but to pull my children out of the school. My children are very academic and athletic and this school did not support them whatsoever. The athletic department lacks leadership and the students lack teamwork. It was an embarrassment to attend some games with our team. If I had to do it over again, I would have never sent my children to this school.

Anytime you have young parents and children in a small community you are going to have cliques- As you grow and develop as parents you realize this. The parents are totally involved which is a fantastic message they send to their children- We have had 4 children at St. Joes and it has really been an advantage now at the High School level.St. Joes principle and overall teachers are wonderful. The children are safe and taught Catholic values on a daily basis.
