Half Day School

I loved this school, it was a great way to prepare for Daniel Wright Junior High.

The administration of District 103 is a joke in a variety of ways. I'll just pick 2 to start. The schools refuse to send home important information with your child. They expect you to be clairvoyant & know when/where to look for it on their dismal website. On the other hand, they send home marketing promos from 3rd-party, for-profit orgs constantly, probably at last 1/week. Sometimes I wonder if my children would get a better eduction if I sent them to the local mall each day. I get more junk-mail thru my children than I do via the post office. The yearly registration forms are a hoot too. They also refuse to send those to you but they do ask about your 3rd-grader's menstrual period or whether they have cancer or take steroids. The teachers? They're okay. I wonder how they deal with the lousy administration.

Along with the entire 103 District, these schools are exceptional. This is not just your average school district. Also a very small community with strong parent involvement. Wonderful schools to be a part of.

I go to this school. It got a blue ribbon for best school in Lake County! It rocks!
