My son is in 4th grade at Ludwig, and he loves this school. His teacher is very involved and seems to really care about his students. The staff are busy in the office, and the mood is quite different from the primary grades. I was nervous about this at first, but after doing some volunteer work at the school, I understand why. It's a big transition from 3rd to 4th grade. The more parent involvement, the better things will go. Ludwig is doing a great job. I do think recess could be a bit longer, though. I think it would expel some of that 'energy' before returning from lunch. Also, a soccer team would be a plus.
